We are so glad to meet with you today. Please respond and tell us a way that you have used something from the grade level meetings in you classroom? We all would like to know! :~) Tina & Krista
I have enjoyed meeting with other 4th grade teachers in the district to problem solve and to obtain new ideas to use in the classroom. The best thing I have used from our meetings were the fraction strips and the rational #s project. Because I started the unit with the concrete manipulatives, my students had a better initial understanding of fractions and didn't think fractions were as "scary" as they anticipated!

I am so glad to see you.
I've used many activities from the math workshops with success in my classroom. Talking partners is great!
My students and I love the links shared. We use them as a group activity at the end of our lessons.
The hands on manipulatives have been wonderful; as well as, the Math websites.
I have used five and ten frames and the timez attack website. I have also used the books on PowerPoint to introduce a new strand of math.
I've used many of the activities that Krista has given us. The use of talking partners is a grand idea and my students enjoy it. Thanks!
I love the GetSmarter.org because I got to see how the U.S. compared to other countries and how well I scored on the national level.
I have used the fraction strips and the kids loved it!! What a fun, concrete way to learn fractions
